Your internet is probably slow because you have lots of spyware - software that constantly sends streams of data back to the source, telling it what sites you're viewing. If you've never deleted it you could have hundreds of spyware viruses doing this all at the same time. Download adaware, it's free, and will delete spyware for you.
If you think you have a virus and your antivirus isn't doing anything try reinstalling it. If that doesn't do anything then try emailing/phoning the company, maybe they can help you out.

The first answer you received is the best one. You have a spyware infection. Spybot and Adaware are the two best for this. If you download them then use them the way they recommend in the read me files and instructions. Also since you have DSL you need to be sure your Windows firewall is on and set to only allow certain things that you allow through it. DSL is notorious for letting spyware through. I would also contact my ISP for help in blocking this from coming in your computer. Finally an active check daily for spyware will help. And when you are not on the Internet close your browser. Use Mozilla as often as possible to.

Yes...Spybot Search and Destroy is the right answer. Once you download it do a full scan and it will pick out all the BAD in your computer for you. Be sure to keep that on your computer and keep it current. After that I recommend you download Windows Defender Beta 2 - it's free and it'll keep out the unwants. E-Mail me if you need help using these after you get the downloads done. Do Spybot and get rid of the BAD before you download Windows Defender. Again I'll help you in figuring out how to use them after you get rid of your viruses.

hi, perhaps you can try norton or Macfee, or spyware doctore to remove the virus, these three software all need a fee to use..
i also recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox cannot remove the virus, but it can disable this virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
download firefox for free:

You got a lousy anti virus program...
If you now the file names you could run a search and try to delete them yourself.
But for the bad ones it doesn't work as well.
I use norton and spysweep but they dont offer free services.
I forgot about spybot works really good but doesnt like windows too much.
