Yeah, some dude from high school, who owed me a lunch ticket, as a bouncer at a night club 9 years after we graduated. Weird.

When I was a kid in Junior high there was a girl named Jennifer that was like the ice princess. No one really liked her because she thought she was better than everyone else. As we grew up she moved and I breathed a sigh of relief and thought I would never see her again. To my surprise 10 years later and 2,000 miles away I was volunteering in a battered women's shelter and Jennifer was there with her two kids. She was really embarrassed about her situation and oddly enough she acted like she didn't know me. It wasn't until I told her who I was did she respond. I really changed since Junior High and I don't have the big glasses and I lost a lot of weight so I wasn't surprised to see she didn't remember me. I was surprised that she did put the airs back on and acted like she was still better than me. I bought her kids some new clothes and put money in the shelters account to cover her expenses to go back to her parents house. When she started talking about me the case manager told her what I did and now she wants to be my best friend. I don't need that kind of baggage. I do feel better knowing that she isn't with an abusive husband any more but I catch myself wondering if she turned into the ice queen and if she had spread so much bad Karma in the past that what goes around came around to her.

My dad got a posting to work in America for 3 years, and he replaced a man who had 2 sons (we stayed in the same hotel during the crossover for about 4 weeks, and used to play together). 14 years later, back in Australia, I was at the same high school as the son my age, didn't know until we were on a school trip and ended up in hotel rooms next to each other. We became friends again after that.

Yes. A woman who was my supervisor in a city about 30 minutes away from where I live now. We both got downsized from our company about 4 years ago. Just about 2 months ago I ran into her working in the bakery section of a grocery store in the small town that I moved to in January. It was bizarre!

We were on vacation in St Augustine and my fiance saw someone he used to play hockey with years before, who was also vacationing there at the time. And St Augustine is about four or five hours away from where they both used to live.

I was in Melbourne Florida getting dinner in the bar at my hotel and ran into a guy that I had worked with years earlier. It was odd.
