this must be a wireless phone
it's the frequancy that thae data is sent and recived by the phone
this frequancy is an indecator on how far u can take the phone from it's base component and be able to speak through it
the higher the frequancy the larger the distance

Its the frequency. I would get a 5.8 frequency or whatever the newer one is because the 2.whatever interferes with wireless internet.

that's the microwave frequency it transmits to and from the cell tower.
