Technically I'm only losing 2 points by asking a question...

because you would pick yourself as best answer and get the points...thats cheating...keep answering don't ask questions cuz you lose points...and vote on undecided questions...all points will add up...you'll be there in no time!!

If you answer a question, that you can answer yourself; why would ask the question at all? Do you see the point now? As far as never getting to level 2, I think you should read through the questions about subjects you are knowledgable about..and simply give an answer...go for the "GUSTO" Good luck, you can do it!

If you could answer your own questions, you wouldn't need to ask them. Don't worry, you will get to level two before you know it. Ask less questions because you lose 5 points each time, and answer lots more questions...you can do it!!!

Because it doesn't make sense to ask a question and then answer it yourself. You can answer it in the asking. Besides, you lose more points for asking a question than you would make up by answering it.

If you could answer your own question, what would be the point of asking it? If you have an opinion on the issue you're posting about, you can list that opinion in the details.

That's the way the program is set up. Besides, most of the time when some one asks a question they don't know the answer themselves.

a quick way to get to level 2 is to not ask so many questions, answer as many questions as you can in a day...and when your run out of questions to answer, start voting one other questions...it's 1 point per vote...but still, it all adds up.

lol because then there would be no need to ask it in the first place? anyways, answering a ? only gives you 2 points. asking one takes away 5 so that wouldn't work out right anyways.
