Yea I tried that too and it didn't really work for me. This summer I decided to give my nerdy self a makeover to rebuild my self esteem and other stuff. So I started buying make up, skirts, dresses, dressy shoes, high heels, getting expensive hair cuts. In the end it was a bigger and more stressful hassle than anything. In one month I threw away more money on make up and clothes than I had in my entire life. Plus getting dress is a *****, with the hair and makeup. Best decision I ever made was to go back to being my nerdy self. I felt so good once I was back to my baggy jeans, my glasses, my fresh cleaned face, and my band shirts.

wear skirts, dressier shoes like a wedge sandle, makeup (eye makeup especially), jewelry, have long hair, shave armpits-legs-bikini line, pluck eyebrows, wear perfume (Glo by JLo is good), use glitter gel in hair on eyes-arms-chest (if wearing tank top), wear toe rings.

Just be yourself. If your girly, then be that. If not, then don't. People start being unhappy when they arent' themselves. good luck!
