What I mean is, that they are already alive and breathing now, why do they need more. Do they want mouth to mouth, or an oxygen tent? Seems a little over the top to me.

Yup, that's what I said. I think they were asking for an oxygen tent. Who else got respirations when they were wronged? The Jews? The Asian Americans? The American Indians? The Kurds? No I say there is no precedent for respirations. Why start now?

Very, very soon, it is not going to matter at all. Bush and the GOP house are going to fund Cuban anti-government activities since Castro is ill and may soon be gone. This will bring the situation in Central and South America to a boil. Russia is selling weapons to Chavez. North Korea, as we know is still playing with Missiles, China will back them if Japan does anything to stop them. That will bring in Russia on China's side. The US/UK will back Japan. The balloon goes up.

Reparation: No, it is time to move on. The days of victimization must come to an end for anyone of any race if they are to made a happy life for themselves and their families. There are too many that have made it and there have been people of all races who have had to overcome obstacles.
I never owned a slave and have been dealt a lot of hard deals in my life but looking to someone or institution to vindicate me would do no good.

My family was decimated by the Romans. I have demanded and sued the city of Rome but as of today I have nothing.
Apparently the tax payers will be the ones paying. I say greed and racism as supported by these actions should be a measure of ones character and be dealt with as such.
I say give them $200.00 and a restraining order and send anyone who asks back to the country their family came from.

Why should they get payed? We fought the Civil War for their freedom were over 600,000 Americans died...Plus if not for the whole slave thing they would be in some shitty country in Afirca starving instead of America wouldnt they?
