Which team won't make the playoffs this year? Personally i think the Yankees are the weakest but the Red Sox might have too many injuries. The White Sox might be failing too fast and the Twins are too little too late. I think the only lock is the Tigers, and the West team is the weakest. What are your opinions?

AL West: Red Sox
AL Central: Tigers
AL West: A's
AL Wild Card: White Sox
The Yankees and Twins (who have a close shot right now will be left out)
NL East: Mets
NL Central: Cardinals (duh!)
NL West: Diamondbacks
NL Wild Card: Reds
Anybody who thinks Houston will make another magical comeback again is stupid. It won't happen this year.

Red Sux don't make the playoffs. Yankees have caught them with a host of injuries. White Sox have picked it up as of late, winning 4 of their last 5, while Minnesota has lost 4 of its last 6, including losing 2 of 3 at home to both Detroit and Texas (and getting blasted today). You knew Minnesota couldn't keep their pace up and I think they fade as we get into August, while the White Sox have too much talent to play as poorly as they did in July.
I think the A's end up winning the West, if only for the fact that they can't hit any worse than they already have, a MLB-worst .248. They've managed to stay ahead of the Angels despite statistically having a worse ERA and hitting 15 points worse as a team.

They are still 2 months left in the season.
You cannot discount the white sox or the yankees (although I'd like to see both of those teams miss the playoffs).
The Tigers probably have the best chance to make it to the post season.
Personally I'd love to see the braves the white sox and the yankees all stay home this October....but we'll see.

National League should just give the pennant to the Mets and lets discuss the American League now.
Boston wins the East
Detroit wins the Central
Oakland wins the West
Minnesota and not New York, Toronto or Chisox wins the Wild Card

The Reds. Their G.M. gets them major bullpen help and they go into a another losing funk. I don't understand these guys. They are totally psycho!! And I'm a Reds fan!!
