Is there a way to make 2 different microphones feed in to the same recording?

get a microphone splitter, and plug both into the splitter.

Yes, go to RadioShack, and buy a splitter with two 1/8-inch MONO female inputs, and one 1/8-inch STEREO male output, then go home. After you pay.
