When you were a little kid, did you do this?

At the beginning of Hide-n-Seek did you do this? We would of course count & then when done counting we would yell out: "Apples, peaches, pumpkin pie! Whoever's not ready, holler I !!!!" And then if you weren't done hiding yet, you would yell out "I"!! Anyone used to do this? Or do you have different versions?

Apples, peaches, pumpkin pie, if you're not ready say I..... yeah I said that when I was little but hey I'm only 13 I will admit that I do still play but only at the farm when it's actually fun.

I don't remember yelling anything at all after counting. We just counted to like 30 or so and went after the others. I think that your way sounds pretty cool because it gives the kids a chance to get ready.

I didn't yell Apple's, peaches, pumpkin pie. I yelled something different but I can't remember what it was because it had been so long ago.

I never did that. I would just count then say," ready or not hear I come".And then go and seek.

We use to say here I come ready or not after the countdown. Never played by your version.

I used to say ready or not here i come everybody and then when i ofund someone i said i found u and we had to race to safe spot, those were the days, lol
