Because he had the ability to use the 4 iron to put the puck into the goal. And the fact that he knocked out Bruce Lee in that 27th round during the 4th quarter for the upper middle weight class of the super world cup made him the greatest wide receiver in football! LOL.

I'm personally a Bulls fan but the next best SG position would be Kobe and about Lebron will have to play a few more years and get at least 3-4 NBA titles to be considered in the top 5 NBA best players even though he currently the best player now game . Micheal Jordan was so competitive and averaged more points per game with teams that was more physical defensive in the 80's-90's game with less shots .He has 6 NBA titles and more player competition in that era of the game so Jordan is the GOAT at least for the next 15-20 years in the NBA.
