"book publishing question?"
superbooks.org ANSWERS:
Go to any library or bookstore and get a copy of WRITERS Market 2005 or 2006 or 2007 .
THIS one book will give you ALL the info you need --which is too much for me to type here.
You will have publishers, and editors names and phones and fax numbers and email addresses plus info about writing and pictures.
Barnes and Nobles always has this book on the shelves. Try Borders Book store also.
CHECK ebay and you can find the books , perhaps WRITERS MARKET 2005 or 2004 older editions at reasonable prices
Check out the magazines WRITERS DIGEST and join the WRITERS DIGEST book club.
Your local papers will list writers clubs and writers conferences.
If you can go to a writers conference you'll have a great experience.
Protect your work. Always add the copyright sign to your work, and don't give out copies of your book until it's almost published.
You can rebuild your broken book and write a new one too.
All you need to do is to WRITE one day at a time and before you know it your book will be done and you will be a published author.
Have a peaceful day!

Reading your question as written I shudder at what educational book you and your two friends have made for children.
By all means, you should keep the original manuscript or submittal; always send a clean, compact, and well-written copy, along with an engaging query letter, to your literary agent or a publisher who has relented at seeing it. Usually, publishing houses avoid any unsolicited manuscripts coming their way unless it is through a literary agent.
Consult your Writer's Market book and then any applicable
Web sight provided before submitting anything.

You should probably make a copy of it. Then send out query letters to different kiddy book publishers. Have meetings with them and introduce your book. Do that until either you give up on the idea or you get a deal. When you make the copy to eventually send to publishers fix the broken things and you'll be fine.

brokers won't touch something that's already revealed (if that's a good corporation) niether will they placed up issues that have been placed on the information superhighway. Synopsis's is nice yet once you upload chapters then no. additionally with self-publishing you have doomed your self. Your e book isn't getting everywhere so which you write something else and attitude an Agent. they want to renowned whether you have any matrerial revealed, then they want to renowned whether it bought. Yours has no longer, they ask your self why and wont settle on your artwork. you may desire to ask why your artwork hasn't bought. Self-Publishing could make or harm you and extremely frequently it breaks you, now you will conflict to placed up something with your historic past. i will't urge human beings adequate to ascertain each and every angel of Publishing and in my straightforward opinion stay clean of Self-publishing. Sorry to furnish you in basic terms undesirable information, even though it is not your e book that wont be regular yet you as nicely. i will't even inform you what to do and you will no longer get out of it i'm afraid. i'm no longer an author myself I artwork for the 'darkish section', human beings should not be so frightened of brokers we don't chew that arduous.

You need to consult a copy of the writers and artiists Yearbook( UK) or the writers handbook US to find suitable publishers. In the meantime offer to a couple of schools. If they like it they may also write a letter in support of your book to your chosen publisher(s). Such a letter would go a long way towards getting the book accepted.

Your bet bet is to go to your local "larger" book store and ask to be directed to the publishing/children's books areas; There are several good guides that are published yearly to keep you up to date on individual requirements of each company before submission; Many require an agent, some allow "freelance" stuff, but, you can actually do it now, yourself, and cut out the middle man if you do your homework; otherwise...read away!!! Good Luck!

You are gonna have to make another one that isn't broken, then look up 'literary agents' on Google, and take it from there.
