I keep hearing about it on here. Why is it different/better/worse whatever than regular email?

Gmail is the best email hoster on the internet. It's how google does email, and they give the MOST storage space and email searches. Pure Awsomeness. Only downside is that you have to be invieed and I'm out of invites. Oh well...

OK, gmail is a new free email account provided by Google. Google provides about 2 GB of free space and offers free IM.

Its not any different, v/s it was the first one to offer 1gb of free space for emails.
Yahoo email is lot better and reliable

Well it's basically what everyone else has told you. e-mail from google. I don't have it personally but one of my friends does. And he never says anything good or bad about it so I'm really no help. lol.
