Do you believe we have an Aura?

o.k. I have to say something here: I have no idea if Kirlian Photography is totally true or not. On some level I think it could be, on some not sure. The truth is this, some of us "CAN" see auras. It is amazing when you can see them. I started reading them approximately a year ago and have been very intuitive all of my life. If you can not see them, maybe you just are not sure how to "look." Some people can see them while others, it takes alot longer to aquire the skill. The people at fairs who are "doctoring up" photographs, or doing fake readings, without considering ethics or compassion, should not be doing such things, but there are those of us out here, who take what we do very very seriously. We want to help people, we care. We consider ourselves people who are just more open to spirit or spiritual things. I know that energy is real, I can feel it when I help promote healings (reiki) and I can see it.
for those unbelievers, try to remember when you were a child. children believe, without question, when they see something, they see it. when we get older, we develope filters, that tell us, we don't see it anymore... how sad.

These are entirely two different (100%-different) types of photography.

Kirlian photagraphy---named after Seymon Kirlian, who in 1939-discovered that objects placed on a photographic plate, emitted a small amount of electric charge.

Somewhere along the line---people, starting thinking that this is proof of some sort, that auras exist, and can be photographed.
I have worked 'psychic fairs' for over 20 years. I have met many different "Aura Photographers"...'they' are all fake! Every last one of them! The cameras, are fake, the photographers are fake, the 'print-outs' (hokey) are also fake. The only thing real, is you get a photo, worth about $1.00 (retail)

Sorry, I didn't see, you last question... Although, I don't believe in "Aura" photography. I do believe, living things, people, animals, plants, etc. do 'put' out or emit, 'something'---It cannot be seen. But, by a highly 'sensitive' individual, it can be felt, and maybe for some, be 'seen', in their 'mind's eye'.

Of course I believe in it! It is a documented effect. As to whether it is the Aura being shown, no.
My wife can see Aura's and I have met others who see them also and the Aura of a human is totally different (so I've been told by these people, wife included) than that shown by Kirilian Photography.
It's a shame, but there you go.

p.s: Did you know, even rocks have Auras?!

I am so moved by Hot Mama's answer that I'm throwing away my disposable camera and buying a digital one tomorrow. I may even buy film for it too. Wouldn't that be marvy? Seriously - photography is an art form. Ansel Adams, Lee Isaacs, Annie Leibovitz and Andy Warhol come to mind when thinking of photographers who made photography an artform.

Do you believe in making money off of the gullibilty of most people? Buy a polaroid camera, and a pack of film. Pull the first picture out of the fimpack and waste it. That makes room for you to slip a piece of acetate back in where it was with a cartoon caroot you have drawn on it.

Ask your victimif he/she knows that everyone has a guardian vegetable, and that your magic camera can identify their's.

Ask them to name a dozen or more random veggies. Have a stack of small pieces of paper, and each time they name a veggie, write "carrot" on a piece of paper, fold it in half, and put it in a hat or bowl.

Take their picture with your "magic camera".

Have them draw a "random veggie" from the hat.

Compare "aura veggie" with randomly chosen veggie guardian!

Naw, it's an artifact of defective processing. I have done "Kirlian" photos in the darkroom. Just a cheap trick.

yes i believe in it. you can tell what mood someone's in, happy ,angry, sad, bitter, etc. It is electricity that emit from your body. nothing to worry about, but , the next time you're out in public, try looking at someone and just barely stare over the top of their head, focusing in. you should be able to see something that looks like a faint light above them. that's their aura.

Sorry its a fact that its just a high voltage corona effect.. It has nothing to do with "aura's". It has a scientific explanation.
