First find out why you're suffering from insomnia.
If, you suffer from depression or some other mental problem go see a counselor or join a support group.
If, you are otherwise healthy: have a ritual before going to sleep.
Go to bed @ the same time each evening.
Melatonin is an o/c amino acid which aids in falling asleep.
Be sure to get enough exercise during the day, making your body tired.

Try reading in bed. If the book is boring enough (try reading law), it should work. ;-)
Do not drink alcohol or caffeine.
Get regular exercise, but not too close to bedtime.

get MARRIED and u see the problem is gone! u will either sleep or face your wife(u will choose the first ,like the rest of us)
