Very powerful? Compared with the Christians?

There is no chance whatsoever that Islamic extremism will destroy the United States. There is a reasonably strong risk of Christian extremism doing so.

Your concerns are seriously misplaced.

Zero.

They're not powerful, they're pathetic. They're wailing for death while we send drones planes to bomb terrorists by remote. They're whining about a land division from half a century ago while their neigbors have spent that time building a high-tech world-class military. Their brain drain is massive; all their smartest people get the heck out of their corrupt nations to work in Europe or the Americas.

They think they're powerfull because they're willing to die, but we're more powerful because we're willing to fight to live. As Patton said, "No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country." This is obviously true, and this is why Islam, at least its predominant fundamentalist version, will totally end up creamed.

Think about all the gun-toting NRA members in all the Red states. The ones with all the military training. If it ever came down to a fight here (and I'm pretty sure that it won't), there's no way those people would let the a death-cult win. They'll fight for the lives and freedoms of themselves and of their children, until all the wanna-be "martyrs" have been killed.

And life will go on.

Look at long term religious trend studies. They point to a general demise of most established religions, especially in industrialised nations. Fundamentalist sects have been the only ones gaining members (evangelical Christianity in this country), with the exception of small crossover pop spirtualities. Who knows what the longevity of this fundamentalist trend will be. History, though, points out that the Luddites eventually went away. They seemed to be a big movement back in their day too.

We cannot say for sure if Islam will eventually become the one and only religion around, but at least that's the goal. Same with Christianity. This is why Christians of all persuasions send missionary all over the world.
To share one's conviction is fine and it should be rather encouraged. Let's hope that moderate Muslims, Christians, Hindus, etc be the one to take the lead in their religious campaigning.

As far as religions go Islam is destined for the dust-bins of History. It is based on the false premise everybody in the world is born to the yoke of Islam. That premise is called the Ummah.

The World Wise Web and the Internet are dispelling the falsity of the Ummah.

The Ummah is where the terms Unbelievers and Infidels come from. People are not born to the yoke of Islam. I wasn't; you wasn't. It is this false premise that gives the Muslim their power of jihad against the Western World.

Westerners and Israelis don't buy into this clap-trap. But, because we don't buy into the Ummah, Muslims are mandated to do anything they can to bring us to that yoke, the Islamic religion/government.

Like I mentioned earlier this is the downfall of the Islamic religion/government. We, who don't believe, are called Unbelievers and Infidels.

A Muslim, according to the Koran, can lie, cheat, deceive, blow up, torture, murder, cut heads off or generally do anything they want to us because we don't believe the hateful clap-trap.

Read the Koran, and discover the ugly truth about this religion/government that spouts peace out of its mouth, while spewing toxic and noxious death out of its butt.

The Ummah is a false premise with no proof to back it up.

Besides, their seventy-two virgins waiting on them in paradise--were trained at "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas." I heard they were making so much money there they decided not to go to paradise. I also heard George Bush had a hand in their training himself.

Used virgins, that's so funny. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!!!!!!!!!!!

Trust me, from the non religious perspective...Christianity won't be giving up any time soon, if ever...

No religion will ever be the ONLY one, even if one were to eventually about take over the whole world, people will still form new "cults", some of which could eventually grow in size to eventually be accepted as 'real' religions.

Christians lead centuries and centuries of war to force their ideals on people. Christianity has never peaked above about 40% of the world's population. Islam won't either.

I'm not concerned one bit. I believe their chances are slim and none. We will however help them to move on to meet their maker or virgins or whatever. That would be the Christian thing to do. Don't you think so?
