I think school should start at, at least 9:30 am.The school my son goes to starts at 7:30 and the buses arrive at 6:30, so if u ride the bus u have to wake up at latest 6:00.And alot of people have homework and stuff,and stay up late until 12:00 or after. and kids dont fall alsleep right away, in fact alot of kids have insomina, and they get like only 7 hours of sleep.
also they should put test(sat. tests) after one hour when school starts.

If your kids start school later, they'll come home later, and finish homework like around 2:00 am. The cycle doesn't change. You're just moving the whole thing 2 hours back. The kids are still getting 7 hours of sleep. If your child is getting so much homework, such that he works from 4:00 pm (right after school) until midnight, you should talk to the teachers or the principal. 8 hours of homework is just too much. But if your son doesn't start working on homework until after all his favorite TV shows, then you really can't blame the bus or the school.

School should start at 8 am and get out at 3 pm. The key is not what time school starts the key is how much sleep they get. They need a routine and they should be in bed by 7:30- 8 pm They should get up by 6:30 am. They also need to start on homework as soon as they get home from school.
They should also eat breakfast, lunch and dinner.

that is fine for schools to begin at 7:30 for high school students. however, elementary students need to start 2 hours later. times now have assigned students too much homework which I don't agree with.
