It's like I get bullied-the lady who is about 26years old hasn't even been working 8 months in this position yet she is older than some of her co-workers. I am 20, soon to be 21 and I was taught to stand up for yourself no matter what the cause is but for some reason, I don't feel like losing my job. If I made a small mistake like grab the wrong dessert trays(which can be fixed cus they are the same dessert s anyways), she gets all P.O cus she has to walk not even 100 feet to make a switch up.

Another example: I almost fainted cus I didn't even get a chance to eat anything for breakfast (I am an average 5'8, 135- I am not big at all), and so another co-worker got me 2 pieces of toast to eat. Well here comes the girl who has been giving me problems saying- you see that clock, you see what time it is? You need to move your butt NOW! She said it so rudely, I had 10 minutes to do a 5 minute job.

I don't know what to do, how to handle the situation. She is just a major jerk- PLZ HELP

I had the same problem where I currently work..I tried setting up the "jerk", but it did not work ( I had a very understanding boss)..
my problem was a 50 something year old lady who watched everyone, instead of worrying about her job, and left notes under the bosses door..
So, one weekend, when I had enough, I called my boss at home. She knew all along that this person torments others..
She did not get fired, but they had a warning meeting on it, and I got promoted to a different department..and got sent to school for free to have a career started..
so , in the end..more for me..

Do not be afraid to finally be straight forward to your boss about what is going on, you will be better off in the long run...

Best to talk with the general manager about this issue. Make sure you have some logical ammunition for your arguments against this co-worker. If the boss sees your side of this, then you've got the guns to take this lady down a peg or two. On the other hand, if I read this thing wrong and this lady IS your boss, then the only thing you can do is quit.

I'd go to the boss and tell the boss that this woman said she wants to control all the dessert trays by herself and I'm here to vouch for her that she would be the perfect person for the job. And she also told me that she would be so pissed off if she didn't get this job assigned to her and she's threatening to quit if you don't assign her to this position. So would you please consider her for this job and make her happy so that she wants to come to work everyday? And she also told me she does not want a raise, she's very happy with the amount of money she's making now and would love to prove her self worth to you.

You need to talk to your supervisor or a HR person.

I would approach her as she's leaving the building and tell her that she had better leave me alone or she could have more trouble than she can handle. Make sure no one hears you. She will sound like a nut case if she tells anyone.

Speak to your boss, say she's bullying you and if she doesn't stop you'll quit. If your boss says "fair enough, quit" then he tolerates such behaviour in his employees and isn't worth working for, if he agrees then it should sort it out.

Make them make a mistake, then emphasize it for the rest of her miserable life.

She should not be talking to you that way. It is unprofessional in the workplace. You should tell your boss. That is harrassment.
