How are you asking this question? Wireless cards aren't necessary if you have internet connection in your home (they are more convenient, of course), browsers generally come with your OS (I suggest Windows for someone like you), and Roadrunner is Time-Warner's ISP. WTF is your question?

assuming that you don't have internet now (kinda hard to believe, given that this site is infact on the internet), you need an open phone line, and an ISP like MSN or AOL, Juno is free, but their not the best.

With dial up, which is the easiest and cheapest, you get (obviously) the slowest connection speed, meaning pages will load slowly and it will take forever to download even small files. The next step up is DSL, you can get it at speeds any from 256K to 5Megs, (dial up runs at 56K), pages will load almost instantly, and downloads will go quicker. If you have the 5meg DSL, or Cable internet, pages will load instantly, and downloads will be lightning fast, it'll take about ten seconds to download a song.

If your tight on money, use Dial up which only requires a phone line, and an ISP which can be found for free (juno) or for relatively cheap (walmart).

If you have an extra 50 bucks a month to throw around, get DSL, if you have more, get Cable.

Good luck.

You need to have a phone line in your house, a modem, and a computer. Wireless card if you want wireless internet. There should already be a brower like IE on your computer but you download it. And when you get an internet provider they usually download their own browser on your computer when you install everything.

to connect wireless on road runner you need the servace, that goes in to a modem, most likely Motorola modem, needs to go out of that in to a router, out of the router wirelessly to your computer, and if you dont already have a browser like IE or Mozilla take this computer your on now and download it and burn to a CD and run it on wireless computer.
