ok, why is it that everything has gone digital? especially scrapbooking. why do people think you have to use your computer for EVERYTHING? what ever happened to the good ol' days where folks could just take a picture, have it develped, and simply put it in the scrapbook and decorate around it?!

MUST i go through digitally revising it? and change this color to that color and that color to this color? it's just so pointless to me.

why not enjoy the memory in it's original form?

sorry, but this just really irritates me. what do you think of it all?

I know someone who spent a lot of time scrapbooking. After months of effort, a book is completed. When people look at the book, they just want to see certain people in the photos. They do not care about the borders, designs, etc.
Rather than spending all that time scrapbooking, simply put the photos in a photo album.
The benefit of using the pc for photos is the fact that you can email a photo to 100 people (who will hopefully be happy to see it) with almost no effort.

You can still go the old route if you wish. I was a late convert to digital, myself, but now love it. I don't change a lot though -- just remove red-eye and maybe crop the photo. Truth be told, however, a year or two back, I stopped taking so many photos/videos because I would rather enjoy the moment more fully than I can from behind a piece of recording equipment. Do what makes you comfortable.

someplace alongside how on your pantry, bugs can lay eggs interior the grains you got, bugs that are too small to work out. Any dry meals that are in packing boxes and bags I right this moment open up as quickly as i'm getting residing house from the food market. I shake the grains by using a strainer of the dimensions that oatmeal, rice, and so on., won't fall by using, yet small bugs will. If there are no bugs falling by using, then I keep the cereal in glass quart jars or super plastic boxes with snap-on seals. while final the jar, first I conceal the coolest of the jar with plastic wrap and then screw on the lid snugly. I label the jar with a bite of huge protecting tape, labeling the contents and the date with a skinny felt marker. Then into the pantry and cabinets they circulate. from time to time, like some months' time, i will shake the contents interior the strainer returned to work out if eggs have hatched and new bugs fall by using. in many cases there are no bugs in any respect interior the dry products rapidly from the keep, yet final week 2 very tiny bugs fell out as quickly as I shook twirly finished wheat pasta by using. Ugh and yuck. Makes me contemplate whether I would desire to be eating a majority of those meals at eating places or someplace else!

You can always keep it in your original format on your computer and print out the pictures you like. It's kind of nice to have pics on your computer and use them as screensavers. That way when you are walking by your computer a picture that is unexpected will pop up as you go by and make you smile, brightening your day. A picture on your wall eventually goes unnoticed. I like scrap books too, but are you going to pull those out everytime you want to look at pictures? Plus digital lasts longer, you don't have to worry about losing the picture. :)

I bet that when cameras first came out, people felt the same way, why don't you just remember what you did, what do you need pieces of paper for? I don't know, I just think it's kinda funny how people react to new things. Though maybe it is getting a little out of hand.

I think that the best way to capture, and remember, the memory is to keep it in it's original form. You don't have to revise it unless you want to, like to remove red-eye.

There is room for old and new. And there is a market for both too.

Sometimes I like contemporary modern and sometimes country. Both are legitimate choices.
