There is a chart in my chemistry book that has the formulas (structure) for the 12:0 and 14:0 fatty acids. I'm just not sure what I'm drawing is the correct way to draw it.

Glycerine is a 3 carbon chain. Picture it as a capital E. Attached to each bar is a fatty acid chain, one 12 carbons long, one 14 carbons long, one 14 carbons long with a double bond in it.The double bond can be between any 2 carbons, and it deceases the total number of H's needed to fill all the spaces on the carbons.
