CHAKA KHAN
If you disagree, get her Very Best Of Rufus and Chaka Khan - Epiphany (her solo greatest hits). You'll be a believer. Theres a side to Chaka you don't know about. Years ago she made Echoes Of An Era with Chick Corea. This is a jazz album and is really good. Remember Whitleys I'm Every Woman? As good as that was Chakas version is superior.

Patti Labelle is a GREAT singer though.

CHAKA! She has more feeling behind her voice while Patti seems to be more about the show.

Between the two, def. Patti. But I agree, neither has anything on Aretha.

ARETHA FRANKLIN. Both Patti and Chaka wish they were Aretha.
