This is an interesting question. I went to my 20th reunion. and wow it was amazing how shallow all the shallow people still were. This one lady was saying how she was SO popular when she went to our school yet when she went on to college it was hard for her to accept that she really isn't that important. At the reunion she had rented a really cool car so that she'd look good..but she didn't look good. she looked anorexic. Her hubby is at least 20 years older.. She ate and then disappeared into the bathroom to throw up.. then went on to hit on this one guy who kinda had a low profile..but we all thought was handsome and sweet and has turned out to be a millionaire.. and there is the anorexic idiot hanging all over him.. trying to get him to take her somewhere.. eeeeewww.. I think the coolest conversation was with guy named Andy who seemed the most unaffected by his success. He bought a houseboat and lives on it with his wilfe and kids.. His priorities are in the right place. Family comes before how important your financial success is.

all different ways but strangly enough a lot of the popular ones got the better jobs and seem to have better lifes ( based on 10 yr reunion) I imagine the same things that made them popular to begin with keept it going the good looks height ( Guys) , Parents money and being outgoing a lot of my crowd ( the not so popular) seemed to get the average jobs and seemed to feel life was unfair to them one way or another which was a big surprise for me I would have loved to have thought the nerd got the girl and lived hapily ever after of course there were exceptions on both sides as fot me I live the dream every day and wouldn't change a thing

The richest, most popular guy was an idiot in high school and surprise, surprise, he turned out to be dumb, rich and fat years later at a high school reunion. I saw him a few years ago on a double date. His buddy was a friend from high school (groan). They had empty Coors bottles in front of them and were spitting chew into the bottles, in front of their dates. Charming.
The pep girl bitches were still that only no one cared if they were popular or not anymore.
The smartest guy in school was very small and geeky back then. At the reunion, he was one of the most interesting people I spoke with all night.
And the one that got away? The one who pursued me in vain when we were sophomores? He turned into a beautiful, dreamy heartbreaker and I developed a crush on him at the reunion. We talked all night and really clicked, but I can't remember why we didn't trade numbers or something. I regretted it for a few years after.
It all worked out. I married someone else and we're happy and thriving.

Well there was this unpopular girl in my class at high school. People always made fun of her, there was a guy who even dated her just to get her ex-girlfriend jelous.
Well as of today, she's my best friend. She's on her 5th year of med school. She has a handsome boyfriend who is a professional psyquiatrist.
I'm just so proud of her, her live really turned out great ! :D

it depends on why some of them were popular in the first place..but some turned out good and some went down the wrong road..some of the least popular were involved more deeply with their school work than anything else so they went through life and now make lots of money and have things they need...sometimes the popular ones end up marrying their high school sweethearts to later go out on her and leave her with the kids while he went on and was good in his work but went sleeping with the neighbor lady...i have personal knowledge of this that is how i know...so it just varies...only cause they were so popular in high school does not mean that they stayed popular in the moral sense anyway....a lot had to do with of course how much money there family had to for there futhering their education or not..

I heard that one of the most popular guys at my school died.
He got arrested for something and he was on probation when he got arrested again for weapons charges or something major and he was going to get time. Then he commited suicide in jail. He hung himself with a sheet. At least that's what I heard. He was a star football player, girls loved him, and everything. People somehow wanted sympathy for him. Death is terrible, but when you bring a situation upon yourself you should at least deal with it.

well im going into the 7th grade and the "populars" i think are going to end up working at mcdonalds or pumping gas cause they only worry about their looks and the latest gossip like who is dating who and they dont focus on their work so they dont get good grades and they cant get a good job.
