I wouldn't call her a 'poser', but at the same time, I wouldn't brand her as a 'punk rocker' either.
She's a pop star, molded by her music label to fit a certain image- real punk rock musicians have a much harder edge and are less bent on spending their time trying to prove how hardcore they are and more bent on getting their personal views out there to the world.
I think she's just lost and was looking for a spot to fit in... she's just a kid.

Poser. I am sorry, i have nothing against her.. but it is commercial (punk sounding, at times) music. A punk is one who goes against society and against norms, rather than being a product of pop marketing.

She is a total poser. She contradicts herself and tries to act all tough. It's okay to be girly and tough, like Gwen Stefani for example

avril was a punk rocker, you have to give her some credit, she did try to write her own music and stay away from the sex kitten pitfalls like christina and brittany. the punk rocker has to grow up sometime.
