And EVERY SINGLE TIME she sees a baby she goes crazy!!! SHE tells me ALL the time that she LOVES babies. She says she's too OLD! and that gets annoying!!! I mean all the celebreties are having kids in their 40's!!!!!!!! She said if she was younger she would......have a baby.

Loving babies is great. You cant just have a baby because you want a BABY. Babies are only babies for about a year or so, then they turn into snotty todlers and so on. Deciding to have a baby means deciding to commit to raising an adult until the age of about 20.
If it was that easy, just have a baby to solve your baby cravings, i'd have like 10 by now!

Why do you want her to have a baby? It'll take all the attention from you. Anyway you can't persuade her to have a baby if she doesnt want one. Having a baby is a HUGE deal.

I second the idea of getting a puppy instead. Babies are tough work. They are not always cute and cuddly. Do you really want to be woke up every three hours every night by screaming and crying???

Well first of all, it is her body and she might not want to go through all that pain again....and second, why do you want her to have another baby? If it's something that is important to you then you should sit down with your mom and tell her how you feel, and ask her how she feels about your idea, maybe then she'll consider it.

Ha! my son has been trying that for years...he's 18 now and still no other "baby"; do realize how much responsibility a baby is? Maybe she doesn't want any more...

Brookie...you have no idea how much work it takes to care for a baby...why don't you try getting a puppy if you want something to take care of.

maybe you can help around the house more than you usually would and she would see how responsible you are and how you would be willing to change for the possible baby
