What is it about the Volvo drivers?

OK, over the last few weeks I've done a careful study of bad drivers. People that tailgate, don't stop at stop signs, speed, reckless driving, pull out without looking, backup out of parking spaces without checking their rear view, etc. and about 1/2 the time, it's a Volvo driver....has anybody noticed the same thing, or am I going cuckoo?

I guess since it's rated as one of the safest cars they feel as though they don't have anything to worry about.
