For a CIVIL action against the perpetrator of child molestation in Missouri, Missouri Revised Statute 537.046 would be controlling. you can look it up here: http://www.moga.mo.gov/statutes/c500-599/5370000046.htm. Essentially it is 10 years after the person has turned 18.

For a CRIMINAL action against the perpetrator of child molestation, MRS 556.037 would be controlling. You can find that here: http://www.moga.mo.gov/statutes/C500-599/5560000037.HTM. It is within 20 years. HOWEVER, certain crimes have no statute of limitations: Rape, forcible Rape, sodomy, forcible sodomy, kidnapping.

If you need more specific answers, contact a Missouri attorney. If you need an attorney and don't have one, contact your local or state bar association.
