In the current storyline of the comics Wonder Woman is a strict vegetarian. She also has the power to talk to animals, which goes a long way toward explaining why she doesn't eat them. The other inhabitants of Themiscyra don't all share her convictions, but they do respect them; none will eat meat in her presence.

As to Wonder Woman caring about animals being killed, it depends on how. She's very pragmatic when it comes to the "circle of life" stuff -- sometimes to the point of creeping her fellow JLAers out -- but she hates trophy hunters, and she has a certain amount of disdain for people who wear fur coats.

Wonder Woman is an Amazon. Amazons are female warriors. Warriors by their very nature are meat eaters. Warriors also kill when necessary. That's why they are called warriors.

Look at the bint. Of course she eats meat ... probably loaded with bovine growth hormones, too. And, I heard, she washes the veal down with a nice chianti.

She doesn't eat meat...
"the overall approach here is one that raises Wonder Woman up as someone who is fairly impressive, a talented writer and diplomat as well as a warrior, a vegetarian for moral reasons and just an all-around nice woman."

Points, please ;-)
