I saw so many priests getting angry on TV
it's just a movie
it's basically about Jesus having descendants
I mean it's not exactly impossible
and what would be wrong with that if it were true?

but it's still just a movie- I saw it..& it was a pretty damn good movie- just like a movie with aliens killing everyone- fictional-could be a good movie- nothing to go off about- yelling "no aliens camedown and killed everyone that's a lie!" :\ I mean come on

I saw the show on the discovery channel
I know it's fiction- that's why I see nothing wrong with it

Well I'm not falling away from God :\
trust me- I just think it's a movie and nothing else- if jesus did have a child...wouldn't change anything with me-
he was put on his earth human- feeling temptation & pain

My friend actually believed the movie - and she wouldn't shut up about it- she was also asking questions when we were in the theatre- u can imagine how bad my head was hurting-

i'm a christian and ur right it's just a movie no reason to get angry and there wouldn't be anything wrong with it if it was true

First it is a book of fiction that some people try to say that it is fact.
Secondly the History Channel and the Discovery Channel both proved that it was fiction.
Thirdly and more importantly Jesus Christ never had a relationship with Mary Magdalene or any other women.

You say that you are catholic. If you question this movie then I suggest to you that you do not understand the Christian faith. This is not just a movie. It is propoganda disguised as fiction. Jesus wasn't here to have children. His point for being here was to set an example for us to follow. His greatest point was that He died on the cross as our savior because we were all born into sin because God cursed the earth because Adam and Eve sinned. He wants us to believe in him. If He would have had children, then His point gets lost because He is one of us then and that is wrong. He is the Son of God who is perfect and for Him to sin is not possible. The author of the book the movie is based on believes in the pagan religion. Therefore he does not believe in God, but he wants you to question your beliefs and fall away from God.

Let's see.. some muslims were enraged about a cartoon where a muslim had a bomb on his turban.
Jesus being a sinner (i.e. having illegitimate kids with a prostitute) is far more enraging in my mind. The cartoon was fictional.. so is the daVinci code. If you believe something or stand for something and someone goes against it, it will make you mad.
By the way.. I doubt you're really catholic.

Nothing. I'm not Catholic, but I agree with you; I see nothing wrong with the movie. In fact, the author, Dan Brown, said that some parts in the book would be fictional, but not all of it would seem fictional. It still was fictional, though.

Cause it says that Jesus is a sinner, a bad father, and that the bible was lieing so if I was a priest I'd be mad 2 know people would lie like that about Jesus.In fact i AM MAD.
