Where are you? If you are in the United States, then SBC DSL is by far the best, if you have it available in your area. Right now they are offering DSL for $12.99/month which is cheaper than some dial-up services and a lot faster. Just call them up or go to their site and check it out.

The only thing that sucks about them is their customer service. Before it used to be pretty good but ever since At&t bought them out, it sucks but it is definitely worth it.

I liked Earthlink when I had it, but now I have People PC and I hate them to pieces. Then again, all dial-up sucks. When I could afford it, Adelphia was great (cable internet).

I have Verizon DSL and I like it. Set up was a pain in the butt, but other than that I'm happy with it.

A good ISP would depend on the area in which you live.

Depends on where you live. Based on your question, your parents shouldn't even allow you to use a computer.
