But Money Talks

That may not be fair, but at least if you or I were to make a similar mistake our private affairs would not be broadcast to the whole world.
The guy slips up one time and everyone is on his back.

Plus think how much that DUI could potentially cost him in lost endorsements and/or movie deals.

I'd rather take the usual punishment than all of that.

Celebrities never get a fair punishment. People care more about what he said than the fact that he was putting lives at risk.

probably because he payed of the judge...or the judge was a fan....
Seriously though, the only actual crime he commited was DUI, and, even though some of those things he said were horrible, it isnt an actual offence to say stuff like that, no matter how bad it is. It is called Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Thought... some of our fundamental rights

Well,
It's just that he's a national icon.
Celebs are just naturally seen as different people.

You also have to take in to consideration that he's got alot of money. :P

It's not fair at all...but that's the justice system for ya!

of course it's not fair. but nothing in life is. the sooner you figure out and start trying to be the guy on the good end of things the better off you will be. It sucks but like they say...Life's a bit*h and then you die.

because if you had the money and power to not
get charged with DUI wouldn't you use it to your advantage
seems kinda fair ....if you work hard & get famous from it
more power to you.

dont get too mad, just kidding...
the King should always be the first one to respect the laws of his own kingdom

Anybody can get out of a DUI... its called a suspended inposition. It might cost $1500 in lawyer fees, but it will never go in their record if they get through their probationary period.

Here is another incedent that we the people should wonder about,,, Dick Chenny shot a man and it was called an accident, if it would have been you or me we would still be locked up and called a criminal with a felony on our record,,

He didn't get into an accident. Do you think he should be charged with a felony? I got a dwi (they call it driving while intoxicated in Texas) and it was a misdemeanor.
