We are all narcissistic to some point or other. Jacues Lacan elaborated the mirror-phase acording to which there is a split between the real and the imaginary when the subject is put face to face with the object (a representation of the self, like a mirror projection) and this makes it possible for the subject to get objective knowledge of him/herself but at the expense losing of the "object little a" ("object petite a") which will be the object of desire.

Sexual narcissism is the erotic preoccupation with oneself as a sexual being: a desire to merge sexually with a mirror image of oneself. Sexual narcissism can also be an egocentric pattern of sexual behavior, defined by David Farley Hurlbert and Carol Apt [1] as an inability to experience intimacy combined with a fixation on the sexual act, using high sexual esteem to compensate for low general self esteem. This is believed to be more common in men than in women and is suggested to be the basis of sex addiction.

But it is a bit narcissitic to ask if it is narcissistic if you are in front of a mirror.

No it is not narcissistic, it is just a way for a person to fully enjoy who they are. Everyone does it. Enjoy.
