they had to make up the in-between stuff. the guys doesn't know what happened to them. in my opinion, the movie was a waste of film and other stuff. i was mad at how crappy it turned out. just really crappy.....

I sped watched it, lol. Just another in a long line of crazy middleaged male terrorizes, tortures, murders young people. There are a lot of movies that claim to be true that aren't...the ubiquitous based on a true story by line.
If I got mad about anything, it was the time I lost watching it.

Did they really make it up? -What about the ending: where the young guy was arrested and then released for lack of evidence. At the very end they even said where he was living now.
If it's all made up than that's a cheap trick to get people interested in the story.

It wasn't completely made up. The story was based on The Backpack Murders in Australia and they sadly, did occur

Well......I thought it was like based on a true story, it did like say that. It was like not that like entertaining, Um...I prefer like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre like a lot better, you know.
