While some people think that Rose and Sharon died in the car crash, personally I don't think they're dead. Also, Sharon and Dark Alessa were not twin sisters (it's a little more complicated than that) and Alessa was not raped by the police officer (Officer Gucci and Colin, the school janitor who raped her, are two completely different people).

It was about this little girl who was adopted and couldn't sleep because she was having bad dreams about silent hill. so her foster mom took her to silent hill because she wanted the little girl to get better. so on their way their they got stopped by a police woman but the lady didn't stop so the police lady followed them to silent hill, but she had a wreck so she was behind. when the little girl's foster mom got to silent hill her daughter went missing. So her and the police officer went looking for her. They couldn't go back because mysteriously the road was broke off so they couldn't drive. so while they were going into different buildings the walls would start to burn and things would come alive and try to kill them. what's weird about the whole thing is that the little girl had an evil twin. and their mother got burned because her mother got pregnant with her when she wasn't married so they burned their mother when she was a girl, but they didn't know that she was being raped by a police officer and had gotten preganant with the 2 twin girls. so u just got to watch it because it is a wierd movie I had to watch it 2 times to even get it. hope this helps

They were dead the whole time after the car crash. Thats why when the dad and other cops came to look for the girl cop, the mother and daughter they couldnt find them and it wasnt ashing. So when they go home, the dad can't see them. Yeah it was kind of pointless.

I thought it was awful. All I know is it was a video game so don't think too hard on it.
