I've had sex many times before, but I never came. I think I may have almost, but I just need to know what your body feels like before you do...I mean I nearly felt like I was going to pee, but I don't know if the guy I was with wasn't doing it right, (because he didn't quite make me orgasm either) or if I'm just not recognizing the sensation. You will have a wonderful tingling sensation all over your body for a few seconds or so , that is the sign that you've just had a successful orgasm.
Yes, your guy isn't doing it right, or not doing it long enough.

sometimes it feels that way, but the build up is a different feeling. I would suggest buying a vibrator, explore areas where it feels better, if it feels better in one area than another, then keep it in that area...you will be sure to bring yourself to orgasm...after you get more comfortable with yourself you will be able to find the position with your partner that makes you orgasm easiest!
