I have been there and seen there and i believed some people in some part of their life nearly wants to take the next step over. Yes, you may be cheese off over the fact that people says that you wanted attention.......for a moment, I being a kind person would prefer not to take you in this senario as You will pass through.....be strong.
Next, when you dies, 2 things happen.
1) in singapore context., when you jumps down, the policeman upon finding your body will still handcuff you as you have committed a murder .......ie yourself. ( this is the old practice, I am not sure if they continue to do this now)
\2) when you die, you have no say as to where you go. from the chinese believes, all suicide person will be sent to hell for violating the rules of heaven.
3) the sins and the need to complete. Just like NS, so if you have a living life of 70 and you commited suicide at 35, so after your punishment in hell, when you will still have to return to life again and this time, unknowingly whether how good your life is, you will have to committ suicide again one more time to complete your previous life age time.
SO WHAT IS THE USE THEN.
have a religion, read buddhist books or become a christian and read bible. mix new friends at these places and this would be the easiest way to get out of what you are today.
remember everyone of us has been there but we push ourselves strong enough to get out of it.
also remember that the real suicidal people are people whom have gone without pain, questions and hopes.........it is really scary for these people are already numb in their hearts.....but then when you meet such people they still can talk like normal though.

Yes, I have, long long ago. (though not in Singapore).
I even tried once, though as you can tell it was something of a failure (due to my total lack of human biology at the time)
I am glad I didn't though - as bad and as hopeless as things might have seemed at the time, it has passed, and I have moved on. Actually, life is pretty cool...
