I remember it like it was yesterday. Some of the local DJs, played the suspected songs backwards on the air. If you really used your imagination, you could almost (and I mean almost) hear a spooky voice, suggesting whatever.
We all had a good laugh about it, and went off to party. A lot of time has passed since then. I have watched our country go down a road of immorality, that makes me very nervous. Everybody likes to make fun of the morality of the older generations, but think about a few things. There has been a revolution of behavior in this country. It is on a scale never before seen in the history of the world. In two generations, we have gone from Leave it to Beaver, to Ozzy Osborne and Gay Marriage. Do you really think that things are better now than they used to be? When I was a kid, we played outside for 8 hours at a time, and only came home, when the street lights came on. Our parents never worried about us. We basically trusted everyone in our neighborhood. It was like that in most neighborhoods. What happened? I leave you to make your own decision. But I ask you. What is the number one cultural influence on young people of every generation? It is their music. I don't care if you think it's the devil, or the Illuminati. Bottom line is, things are falling apart, and if you have a better explanation, let me know what it is. I try not to judge other people's music, but I have listened to some of the hard rap that is out there. Let's cut the crap. That is evil, with a backbeat.

No, when I was a teenager no one cared what the lyrics were about as long as you could dance to the beat, bang your head, or tap your feet and nod your head.
