Alexander, LJ, and LT2 are gone in the first 3 picks.
Barber and Portis are 4 and 5.
I'm going to take an RB but which one.
Jackson, Brown, Edge, Rudi J or Jordan?
It's out of these 5. Any thoughts as to who and why...and why NOT the others?
1 pt for 10 yards rush/rec
6PT TD's and no PPR.
Oh by the way, Cadillac is not a choice for me at this spot.
It's out of the 5 mentioned above.
Thanks

Jackson, for sure.
The offence has gone inept at times and things are definitely looking like they are going Jackson's way, as far as the offense goes.

I say if that's what you're facing, take Peyton Manning. He won't be there on the turn, and that's your last chance to swing for the fences. But that's just me.
If you're dead set on picking a RB here, I'd play it safe and take Rudi Johnson. You know what you're going to get (which will be substantial), there are good reasons why the other 4 would have big seasons...but also good reasons why they won't live up to their higher expectations. With Johnson, all you really have to worry about is injury, but that's an intangible with any player you draft.
Then if you go RB on the turn (which I'm assuming you will), go for a high risk/reward guy--about the only one of that type you'll have a shot at would be Reggie Bush, but if he cuts loose, he will do so in a very big way.
Or, I have a feeling Jordan would stilll possibly be on the board by then, and you could have 2 that you feel good about.

go with either ronnie brown or edge- not sure it will make a big difference either way- both are gonna have good seasons- edge may not be as productive cuz of the amazing WRs but ronnie has been progressing ever since last year and he will continue to do so this year and become a greak running back

assuming the top 5 go as you said; I have Edge ranked next highest - but it's not by a long way. I really think Steven Jackson might explode this year, but Edge is a safer pick.

I think Steven Jackson could either have a really good year (like next year he'd be a 1-3 pick) or he could just have the same production as last year. Either way he's still a good pick. I think Ronnie Brown's big year is next year. Jackson's gonna be huge.

I would take Edge. With Warner or Leinart throwing to Fitzgerald and Boldin that should loosen up the defense for him.
