Theocracy, ie God is the ruler. With devine leadership you won't go wrong. Sinners won't like this form of government as their sin is known. No hiding behind 5th ammendment or any other "law".

Constitutional monarchy comes second. This is the kind of gov. in Australia, England, Canada etc where you have a democratically elected Gov. and a monarch whose powers are restricted by a constitution.

Democratic republ;ic comes third.

Any form of dictatorship comes last by a long way. Even if you have a benovolent dictator, power currupts and absolute power corrupts absoutely.

BTW, Communism is not a form of government but a form of economic system. If it is so good why did they build wall? Oh, I thought it was to keep the people in!

As a leader, the best type of government would definitely be a dictatorship.

As a citizen, the best type of government would be a restricted republic where only a limited sub-class of people (i.e., the "right thinkers") could vote and control the direction of society.

And before people rant about the special interest groups taking over, I clearly said "right thinkers", which pretty much precludes special interest groups who are willing to sacrifice everyone else's issue on the altar of their special interest.

I feel we have good Democarts and Republicans that are about helping the citizens. I like the balance of voting and checking in with your representatives to get some of the things needed.
I went to the State Capital and I thought of how many States we have and the freedom of speech. People fought and died for such freedom. Every country should follow the pattern of America. Look how many people want to come here to be Americans!

Government goes in cycles.
At first there is chaos with people doing whatever they want.
Someone stands up and declares them self king.
People kill the king and try communism.
People feel disinterested in communism and switch to democracy.
Democracy gets to slow so people want direct representation.
Brings us back to chaos with everyone doing their own thing.

The best type of government is a democracy with a well educated populous that holds elected officials accountable. The USA is slipping from the top tier since the majority of people are not seeking higher education.

A democratic one that has leaders that are elected by the peopleand kept in check by them. It should provide for the basic needs of its people, but still balance that with providing them avenues for self-expression and fulfillment.
It should not mortgage their future, just so that they can look good in the present but realize that they have a responsibility to future generations.

Democratic voting. Socialist provisions for basic human needs then capitalistic economy to allow for self-realization.

On paper, or in theory, socialism is the best form because everyone prospers & no-one is left behind. However, reality gets in the way & people have no motivation to perform. "Why should I work harder than anyone else if I don't get any additional reward."
