Carrick is a good player but 18 mill is way over the mark.I bet spurs are laughing all the way to the bank with this one especially as they paid less than 3 mill for him from west ham...I dont mind though cos they are in major debt and would love it if they went under..And if abbo left chelsea then it would be a win double..

Tell me about it 18 million is ridicules but if there is any body who is justified in spending that on anyone it's Sir Alex. He set a British transfer record for getting Roy Keane from Nottingham Forest and people said he was mad then. Look at the transfers that he has pulled off that have paid off and people said he was insane. Not all of his transfers work out to be gold but he and the united board must see something in Carrick that nobody else sees.

I truly have a query for you Kasper. Is Chelsea's homestead floor talked approximately as Stamford Bridge to furnish a bridge for Drogba to dive into the Atlantic Ocean because a lake or sea isnt sufficiently huge? If i became a having a wager guy, specific i could think of thats the main probably state of affairs at this element. yet its soccer and something can happen. whether that's guy U vs. Chelsea, i visit objective to get tickets because I truly have a corporation holiday to London that week and that i wouldnt ideas spending corporation funds to pass to Athens to observe high quality soccer even however its no longer Barca.

While it is way too much money for Carrick, think about how much it will impact Spurs. All of a sudden their midfield has a gaping hole in it!

Probably, i would like to know where the £18.5 million came from as they are approximately £650 million in debt thanks to Glazer.
