Are there any prenatals that are not as big as horse pills? I have issues taking pills and I have been taking folic acid vitamines and calcium but I cannot seem to be able to swallow the prenatals. I am TTC so it's not too crutial at this point

I have the same problem (I actually have to put the pill down my throat just to swallow them). I have found that One Source Prenatals are very small (about the size of a tylenol pill) & are very simple to swallow. They are about $5.00 for a bottle of 120 & Walmart sells them.

Also, taking prenatals while TTC is best.....my doctor has me taking them for the last year & we are TTCing.

i got the generic brands like from walgreens, publix, and jewel. and never had a problem. i am no longer taking mine--and just looked at the ones i still have in my cabinet. they are the walgreens brand--and smaller than my one a day vitamin. my ob said the OTC vitamins are just the same as any other vitamin out there.

When I was pregnant, I couldn't take the vitamins. They made me very sick. The doctor told me to take 2 Flintstone Vitamins. My daughter is 3 now and very healthy.
