my mama said when she tried to call my cingular cell phone it said "i'm sorry all circuits are busy now, please try again later" and before that it gave her that noise ( duhh nuh nuh) like my phone is cut off from not paying the bill. Then when i call "network busy" is on the screen. Its like i cant make or receive calls.

Okay. I use to own a Cngular. When it says "all circuits are busy" that means a lot of people are calling from a cingular phone. Call Cingular and let them know about it. My phone did stuff like that so I switched lol

"Network busy" could mean that either:

1. All voice channels (for a phone call) are in use or there is no
capacity available to support data (for a Vision session).

or

2. There IS capacity, but you are in an area where the phone is
receiving a signal yet there is enough attenuation to your handset's
signal that the network cannot "hear" you make a call or initiate a
Vision connection. Because the phone transmits a requests and gets no
response, it mistakenly assumes that the network is busy when in fact,
the network simply didn't receive the request.

You mentioned it, already, but the first thing I thought of is that the bill did not get paid.

The fact that you got a signal and a message means that your phone is working and can reach the system. This suggests to me that the phone company (your carrier) has not credited the last payment to the account.

Either that or it was not paid, in the first place.

Have your mom (or whoever pays the bill) to check into that.

Why don't you contact Cingular on a land phone or in person and find out what's up with your service?

Use another carrier and call your supplier. The phone may be a dud or you don't know how to use it. That's a real answer, not making fun of you.

It means that there are too many calls coming and going through your area and the cell towers are too overloaded to transfer calls.
