No, it would make you a wealthy landowner, but not royalty.

It would make your ancestor a nobleman. Although most noblemen took their land by force so its a possibly the reason your ancestor was given the land was because of a family tie with royalty.

No. Gifts from Royalty don't make you royal. The only way to be truly royal is to be born into the royal family. Marrying into it, technically, does not make you a 'royal' because you are 'not of the blood' but your children would be. Historically ancient kings and queens used the 'gift of land' as rewards for services rendered because although one may appear to own land ALL land in the country, ultimately, belongs to the reigning monarch.
