Chicago! A lot of big city conveniences with Mid-Western friendliness. Fairly liberal (so conservatives can live there too).
Lots of neat little places to eat. Lots of public facilites. Better traffic than some large cities. Lots of diversity (with pockets of no diversity).

New york City. New York.
I used to drive semi's and had a weekly run their.
You can find any thing you want to find.
The only place you can stay in the City, and see a lot of different things. The statue of liberty, sky scrapers, The huge business's
Rich and the poor all together.
Broadway, Skin flicks,All in one large place.
And the different nationality's.
I felt Safe their, and that surprised me.
I spent two days a week there.
I miss it so much now, Bright lights and big city. The big Apple.
I love new York New York.
May we keep her safe now and for ever!!

I would have to choose...

Chicago - Fun and more family oriented. Buckingham Fountain is great. It felt like home strangely.

AND...

New York City - Fantastic shopping! what more can I say.
They are so different it is hard to choose.
