There are a wide range of side effects and various drugs. What drug are you speaking of because you can't generalize them all?

I have been on several and it really depends on what fertility drug the doctor is using. If it is just clomid, then the most noted side effect is the possibility of twins, although the risk of this is way lower than with other, more potent fertility drugs. If you are talking about injectables, like Humegon which stimulate the ovaries in a much bigger fashion, then multiple births is a big side effect. There can also be hyperstimulation of the ovaries which is painful. There are possible mood swings and a whole host of lesser seen side effects (as with any drug), but I never had any bad reaction to any of the drugs. Good luck!

The most common side effect that i have heard fertility drugs have is it up's the chances of a multiple birth (twins etc). Also i have heard of enlarged ovaries (due to the hormones), irregular periods and really sore breasts. Hope that helped and good luck if you are trying!

Headaches, mood changes, hot flushes, vaginal dryness, visual disturbances, soreness at the injection site(injections only). No fertility drug has been linked to birth defects if taken properly to induce ovulation.
