If Limewire is illegal, and everyone knows about it, why can't the government shut it down? I'm not saying I want them to, but they obviously know about it and it is clearly illegal. So why haven't they done anything? Sending notices to users saying don't use it doesen't count.

Limewire isn't but some of the content is and burning the songs is to the reason the government dosen't shut it down is because it's not lime wire its the people

They probably will shut it down but I think that they are dealing with licensing issues because the company is registered in another country.

yes and don't download it because your computer will have viruses. i know because it happened to me. i'm not sure about why the government won't shut it down.
