I don't know what the fuss is about, I personally don't really care. To me, that is just like my neighbor down the street voicing his opinion... not that I ignore him, I just don't see a problem

When celebrities have an opinion they are heard by more people than Joe Shmo. When they come out and say they are Christian and changed their partying ways and stopped drinking and then gets caught for driving drunk which is something everyone seems to have forgotten. Everyone is focusing on what he said to the officer (who was Jewish by the way) instead of his DUI. Then he appologizes and blames his problem with alcohol and hides behind that. He lied to everyone that he changed his ways and now that he was caught he is spin controlling it to protect his image and most people don't even bother to understand the whole story so he will simply say he will rehab and didn't mean what he said when he was drunk and it will be done and he will be fine.

We're used to strangers having all kinds of opinions, good and bad.
But, when someone whom we thought we knew, and in addition, someone who we thought was a kind and good man, comes up with something so vile and hateful, we are embarrassed and sad that we were mislead.

The man was drunk, people say lots of stuff they don't mean when they 're drunk. What is funny is how all of these immoral, foul living celebrities are now going to sit back and pass judgment on him.

It was inappropriate and considering who he is it will prbably really hurt his career for awhile. Public figures should always try very hard to give a good impression cause if they don't the s*** can really hit the fan.....
