I have not personally started my own business but I have some resources that should be handy for you.

The best routes to take are to research the process of starting a business as well as the industry you're interested in.

I recommend checking out the SBA, Entrepreneur, The Start Up Journal & Nolo. All 4 are great informational resources for the new/small business owner. I posted links for you in the source box.

Research, research, research – this cannot be stressed enough. Read as much as you can. Here are some book titles that are relevant:

* How to Really Start Your Own Business, Fourth Edition by David E. Gumpert
* How to Really Create a Successful Business Plan: Step-by-Step Guide by David E. Gumpert
* What No One Ever Tells You about Starting Your Own Business: Real-Life Start-Up Advice from 101 Successful Entrepreneurs (What No One Ever Tells You About Starting Your Own Business) by Jan Norman
* Business Start-Up Kit by Steven D. Strauss
* Start Your Own Business (Entrepreneur Magazine's Start Up) by Rieva Lesonsky

There are plenty of free informational resources out there. Check the source box for links to articles.

Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

Well.. like the primary reply stated, take a industry flair scan to uncover out what varieties of organizations you could be effective in. It will also be performed, with time, endurance and begin-up coins. I began a puppy day and well being care organization that I ran for three years after which bought a fundamental component to my worker.. and I nonetheless stay a silent companion keeping the finance finish of matters whilst she and the leisure of the staff run it. It's nine years historic and developing. It did take time and study despite the fact that. First you need to come to a decision what you're serious about, then start networking with persons who possess the identical varieties of organizations.. and pass from there. Most organizations take a well yr to relatively get off the bottom.. so be all set not to see any go back in gains for no less than a yr. Anyone with ambition can do it. The satisfactory recommendation I used to be given while I began used to be.. "You get out what you place into anything.. " Best Wishes!

Research, research, research...

See if your local college offers an entrepreneur course. There is one here, and it takes you from idea formation, through market research etc, to having an actual business proposal that could be presented to a bank for financing.
