Hmmm, this is a peculiar one. Men/people usually only give expensive gifts to someone they are involved with and for some time. You've heard of the expression theres no such thing as a free lunch...................... ? Well unless its a thank you, still how expensive?? Do you mean like a car of something???? If it is its probably so you can go and see him!!! Nope this person definitely is infactuated with you and is warming you up with gifts - careful, only take it if you're definetly getting involved, some men see buying expensive gifts as an investment in their partner/potential partner. This is a difficult one. Its important NOT TO USE PEOPLE- maybe he's testing your morals?? Love of money????Maybe there's something else - a hidden agenda???maybe he has ulterior motives for wanting to know if you're a gold digger?? Anyway I used to go out with a guy years ago, his family owned a garage and he offered to GIVE me his sports car - seriously, I was 17 at the time, his family was VERY wealthy, and so was he, but I turned it down. I know he's still single, and I know along the years he's met many a gold digger, Ill bet sometimes he reminises about the past and the one person who wasnt a gold digger - get away. Still I was the very first girl he had sex with and he was very grateful!

Yes, its wrong to accept expensive gifts from someone you're not involved with. Its even wrong to accepts gifts from someone you ARE dating if the gifts are very expensive and you haven't been dating long.
There is no such thing as free expensive gifts. Maybe, you don't have any intention of getting involved but keep in mind that this other person is definitely expecting something back for their time and money.

If the person giving you the gift is under the impression that there is a potential for becoming involved then I wouldn't take it. That is probably the reason he is giving it to you then. If you make it clear to him that you do not want to become involved and he still wants you to have the gift then take it. Of course be gracious enough to thank him

hi - etiquette dictates that a female shouldn't settle for rings from a guy till she is wearing his engagement ring. This guy is largely offering to maintain you around as a mistress. Or did he advise marriage? the two way, he would desire to comprehend greater advantageous than to persist once you have gently declined his furnish of romance. And at his age he would desire to truly comprehend greater advantageous than to furnish costly rings in a fashion that's beside the point. you probably did the suitable suited ingredient by no longer accepting the necklace. (Whooo!) i do no longer even comprehend you and that i'm happy with you. All you're able to do is be your many times occurring self and instruct him which you're nonetheless keen to be friends. It in all probability does not harm to shrink the time you spend on my own with him for a at an identical time as. solid success and take care.

As long as they understand that you have no intention of ever becoming involved, why not. If they dont know, dont do it. You'll cause yourself lots of problems.

its ok. but be fair and tell him clearly you dont wanna get involved. thats not only important for you, so you dont get problems but also for him. if he has no chance anyway, its better to know about it. (i hope i got you right...)
