Guilty as charged. I confess I needed a light on for a few days after seeing the movie. :(

I think the end is what finally sent me over the edge *all those little handprints on the walls and Josh standing in the corner turned towards the wall..SHUDDER*

Possibly the only bloke who'll own up to it but i also found it **** ya pants scary too, and its not beacuse im a girl.

If you found that scary dont watch an american haunting in an empty cinema - even if it is the middle of the afternoon, i couldnt sleep properly for two days after watching that film!

Smellyteddy says:
"The Blair Witch Project seems to scare a lot of people if they do not know the ledgend and believe in the supernatural."

That movie actually did scare the crap out of me - I still consider it one of the scariest I've ever seen. I saw it in the theatre, so watching it on the big screen in the pitch black - it was like you were there. And the way that movie was done did it for me - like it really happened - no gross violence, no music, just like a real home movie. I love to go hiking, and I swear I would not go back into the woods for months after I saw that movie!

It was very scary until everyone found out that the movie was fabricated and not an actual video of something that really happened. After learning this, I would classify it as a "B" movie.

well i missed the first 15 minutes so the end made no sense whatsoever to me! doh!
i did get a little shiver when my sister explained it to me tho!
ps. if you want a real scare, try watching the woman in black sometime, seriously terrifying old fashioned ghost story, no blood or guts but the scariest film ive ever seen! dont watch it on your own! Whoooo (thats my scary ghost noise)

That movie scared me to death. I had to sleep with the lights on for days after seeing the movie. I think it was so scary because they made you think it was real. They did an excellent job.

I thought it was! I left fingernail marks in my friend's hand during the movie. Good flick.
