I didn't have that much money for a hotel so I will be staying at the Gold Nugget, but is there anything that would prevent me from going to the spa's, pools, weight rooms, ect. at the hotels on the strip. I realize how cheap that sound's but it's either that or stay with relatives in Houston.

First, most plurals don't have an apostrophe. Spas, not spa's. Sounds, not sound's.

Most hotels on the strip closely guard their pools. Card Key access is often required for weight rooms, and/or are a fee based service. You are welcome to use a spa's services, like massages and facials, but you will have to pay for it, just as the hotel guests do.

You are welcome to walk the grounds at the casinos and use the gaming floors and restaurants, but the amenities are reserved for guests. Perhaps you can find someone to walk you into the pool. . .

you might not be able to use the pools, but you can definitely walk around, gamble, etc. And downtown has a charm all of it's own. I'm sure your hotel has a pool, and it probably won't take an hour to get there from your room like it does in the giant city-sized hotels on the strip.

Last time I was there, there was a bus that goes back and forth from the strip to downtown. It's a few dollars.

You can hang out at all the hotels, casinos and restaurants on the strip. Most, if not all hotel amenities are for paying guest/customers (i.e swimming pools and gyms). The spas at the different hotels/casinos you normally pay separate and can charge to your room if you are a guest there. In some cases you can make an appointment and just go w/o having to be a guest. If you are interested in a particular spa, I suggest you call and inquire.

No you will not be able to get into the pool areas and spas at the big hotels on the strip. I have stayed at many, was just at the MGM, and they ask for your room key and your name to make sure the key you have is not one you found somewhere. They check the computer to be sure that you are a guest.

You can, however, go gamble and eat and see shows at the hotel strips.

the lads are probable too outdated for Circus Circus or Excalibur, ny ny has an rather nicely-accomplished subject, a truthful-sized arcade and the curler coaster. The rooms are style of smallish despite if that's only for one evening besides. Staying interior the pyramid at Luxor means rooms with a slanted wall, taking an elevator that travels on an perspective, and it even has a good pool. there is likewise age-friendly factors of interest like the bodies exhibit or the recent Legends activities section. Room expenses are in many cases among the backside on the strip. in case you propose to be doing a number of sightseeing on your sooner or later on the strip, you will probable choose something greater critical like the Mirage, which additionally has the dolphin habitat, secret backyard and the exploding volcano instruct at evening. A room for 4 may well be out of your budget, although.

Those amenties may be off limits to non-guests. Some spas are open to the public, but most pools aren't.
